Born in Santa Rosa, California on May 27th, 1991, I never imagined that almost 19 years later I would be where I am today. I was always a tomboy; the girl who played street hockey with her older brother in the dress clothes her mother had so meticulously prepared. After my completion of the 7th grade, my mom, dad, brother, and I moved to Havana, Arkansas to be closer to the family that lived there. It was there that I completed high school as Salutatorian at Western Yell and first became involved in the unthinkable: pageants.

I never thought that I would have as much success in the world of pageantry as I have had thus far. In fact, I rely heavily on the scholarships I receive to aide me in any college expenses I may incur. Seeing as I am a pre-medical and psychology student looking at attending UAMS, the scholarships are vital. Right now I am a biology major, minoring in chemistry and psychology at Arkansas Tech University. I really hope to earn my M.D. upon my graduation from Tech and to someday become a prominent psychiatris… go ahead, call me crazy!


In January of 2006, my life was changed forever when I came home from feeding my horses and found my dad lying beneath my overturned four-wheeler in the middle of our dirt road. In his attempt to slide around the corner, he had unexpectedly hit a bump that sent him and our four-wheeler flying. It was apparent just from trying to talk to him that everything was not ok. He was disoriented and didn't even know his own name. With the help of my brother, I took him to the hospital where after an MRI, they discovered he had a brain hemorrhage. My dad spent two semi-conscious weeks in the hospital, all of which could have been prevented had he just taken the precautionary measure of putting on a helmet. After that day, I began to take it as my personal responsibility to educate others about the
