So. I haven't written in a while, I've realized and the more I commit myself to getting on here and leaving an update, the more I realize that I have so much to say.
For starters, my days have been pretty packed with voice lessons (SWAY) and interview lessons. On top of my pageant preparation, I just recently signed on with a modelling company, so start to watch for me! On top of that, school is almost over!!! :)
But amidst all of these fun and time-consuming things I've been up to, tragedy has struck within the closest confines of my heart. My friend, the man who filled my brother's shoes when he graduated, the person I so looked up to met his untimely death last Saturday. I've been absolutely devastated. His wedding was less than a month away to the only girlfriend (and he her only boyfriend) he had ever known. He was a great man, among the best and that's the honest truth. Now, I wouldn't be saying this on this website unless there was something related, and there is. You see, JT died in a motorcycle wreck. From what I understand, he was wearing a helmet, but it didn't fit properly. He was only 21. With the issue of helmet safety already being so close to my heart, when I lost this brother, it struck way too close to home. Nobody is safe. Please remember that. It is always important to make sure you have properly fitting helmets and that you wear one.
I would appreciate it, also if you would keep the Crites and Albright families in your prayers. JT was a great man and anybody that knew him can vouch for that.
